In September of 2023, Officer Turk was working a Seattle’s Finest traffic detail, when he was alerted of a civilian who was unresponsive and needed CPR. Turk rushed to their aid, quickly taking control of the situation and successfully performed the necessary life saving measures needed until the Seattle Fire Department arrived and was able to take over. It was due to Officer Turk’s exceptional response and dedication that he was able to save a life that day.

In July of 2023, Retired Chief, Chris Taylor, was working a Seattle’s Finest security detail at a retail location in Seattle when someone informed him of an individual experiencing a drug overdose in the location’s restroom. Chief Taylor rushed to the scene and was able to perform CPR on the individual until the Seattle Fire Department arrived on site to transport. His quick and dedicated efforts are a shining example of how much he values and prioritizes serving his community. 

In October 2023, while on a Seattle’s Finest security shift at a Seattle retail location, Matt was alerted of a stabbing victim found outside on the property. Retired Officer Bajo rushed to the scene and was able to immediately work on stablizing the stabbing victim until emergency services arrived. Matt’s critical action of life saving measures on this individual was a true display of service and heroism.
